Synesthesia paintings
Synesthesia is a neurological phenomenon in which stimulation of one sense involuntarily triggers another, sound may appear as color, or music may create visual impressions.
Many people with synesthesia see colors when they hear music.
My experience is a rarer form: I perceive colors in people and in places.
As an artist, it felt only natural to translate these impressions into art.
My love for architecture often inspires the locations I choose to explore, each structure, street, and skyline revealing its own palette.
The works below are a small collection of places I’ve visited and the colors they revealed to me.
I’ve also included a few commissioned portraits inspired by the colors I see in my clients.

This is not a portrait in the traditional sense. It is a translation.
Each work is created at scale in mixed media on paper or canvas.
The process is direct and intuitive, preserving the energy of first perception while refining it through deliberate composition.
The resulting piece holds a specific exchange, a visual record of how you or your space registered through me.
Commissions are limited annually.
